1 Set the focus mode switch

viewfinder, turn the focusing
ring to right or left until the
subject is in focus.
When the subject comes into
focus, the focus indicator
lights up in the viewfinder.

Using a manual focus lens
When you adjust focus manually, you can either look at the focus
indicator in the viewfinder or the viewfinder matte field to
check if the subject is in focus.
You can use the manual focus mode to adjust focus with the aid
of the focus indicator in the viewfinder.
